Welcome to Abducted Mind Records.

My main intention for starting this Netlable was to be able to get my music out to as many people as humanly possible without having to go through industry channels. When I discovered the existence of Netlabels I began thinking to myself (Hey You! It seems like now is as good a time as ever to take the wheel with your recorded music. So do it!) So I am doing it.

As a musician, I have always been very leary of the commercial music industry. I think the main reason for being leary is that I knew that I totally did not belong and was not going to trick myslef into trying to belong.

When it comes to my music, I am a total control freak. I don't want someone telling me what and what not to do. Also, I love so much music that I can hardly stick to one genre. I know it seems crazy and musicians are supposed to have a "brand" or some bullshit but I don't fall for that. If I dug a group of musicians and signed them to a label, I wouldn't tell them what to do either.

Another reason for me starting this was a growing suspiscion I have had about online distribution sites, I will not name any names but if someone is gonna screw me, I'd rather it be myself before anyone else.

So here is the site. I will put up much music for your downloading and sharing pleasure. If you like what you hear, please tell your friends.

Every now and again I will upload a whole album. I ask that you be a sport and donate some money for the download. I trust that anyone who visits this site will have a good sense of ethics and appreciates the fact that someone is sharing their work.
